COACH FOR DISADVANTAGED YOUTH, SOFT SKILLS TRAINING CENTER
Life Project 4 Youth (LP4Y) Foundation is an international NGO. Since last March 2019, LP4Y has set a 3 1⁄2 months soft skills training center, the Green Village Mekong: an entrepreneurial hub for out-of-school and excluded Young Adults in Can Tho City. A hands-on training for social and professional integration of Youth.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Accompany the youth from 17 to 25 years old with low educational background.
- Follow and guide the Youth about their PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT following the syllabus and program developed by LP4Y
- Follow and guide the Youth about their JOB PREPARATION: guidance and personal development, definition of their life project, preparation for job search, follow-up and accompaniment during their job integration
- Help the youth in gaining EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS: business, management, organization, communication (in particular English speaking), computer, professionalism, time management...
- Be a role model, inspires and reveals the talents of the Youth
- Be positive and encouraging
- Develop and maintain the partners’ network around the project
- Empower the community around
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Age: at least 27 years old, woman only
- Fluent in Vietnamese and well command in English
- Work experience in the corporate sector will be appreciated
- Basic knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, drive, email...)
- Professional behavior and punctual
- Ability to work in a team with intercultural members

Benefits

- 1 year contract, renewable
- 5 days per week based on 8 hours/day but need to be flexible on working hours
- 2 weeks of paid holidays every 3 months
- Salary: 5.500.000₫ /month

ENGLISH ↔ VIETNAMESE CONSULTANT INTERPRETER/TRANSLATOR,
SOFT SKILLS TRAINING CENTER

Responsibilities and Duties:
The Interpreter will provide interpretation and/or translation services for :
➢ Recruitment sessions with youth from 17 to 25 years old : interpretation for interviews and translation for assessment forms.
➢ Training of Trainers (TOT) sessions : interpretation of trainings for youth and/or trainers.
➢ Meetings with partners : NGOs, VTCs, Orphanages, Universities, Local Authorities ...
This position is “Occasional” meaning on an on-call basis with variable hours. Interpreter must have reliable transportation and be punctual.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- Education : university students are accepted. Education in English linguistics or related and/or evidence of training in interpretation is a plus.
- Fluent in Vietnamese & English (with a very high professional level of vietnamese)
- Displays cultural sensitivity, awareness and respect to all parties involved that makes possible conditions of mutual trust.
- Comfortable with differents kind of interlocutor (casual to very formal meetings)
- Professional behavior and punctual
- Ability to work in a team with intercultural members
- Dynamic and flexible
- Being mobile : meetings in all Can Tho Province
